Two Month Stats:
Head circumference: 15.4 (60th percentile)
Height: 24 Inches (96th percentile)
Weight: 10 pounds even (15th percentile)
Indy is the sweetest, petite, grumpy, smiley and cranky baby. She has so much personality already it's crazy! "She likes what she likes when she likes it." - we say that all the time!!
She is so cuddly and anytime I hold her she nestles her head right in between my neck and shoulder, it's the sweetest thing and makes me feel so loved by her. I can usually calm her down but there's that witching hour every night where she's just pretty sad no matter what :/
Indy has been rolling over for like two weeks now (she can roll over from tummy to back)!
She is so so smiley! If we talk to her in really annoying voices she smiles so much. She has laughed a couple of times, mostly in her sleep hehe
She's had about five blowouts now- mostly because Wes put the diapers on wrong but the last couple were because the diapers were getting too small. She wears size ones now and it was so sad for me!! They looked so huge on her but it was definitely time to put the newborn size away.
She can fit into size 0-3 month clothing!! Yay!! But they're still loose! But at least she is growing and can fit into some of the cute clothes that she has.
Indy's hands are dangerous!! haha she hates being swaddled most of the time because she loves her hands so I don't swaddle her very much anymore. When she sleeps her hands are usually above her head and she wakes herself up by flailing her arms around.
We have a hard time getting her to sleep at night so she usually goes to sleep between 10-12. She sleeps until 4:30 without fail every night to eat and then she goes back to sleep until 6 or 6:30. Still not an all night sleeper but I'll take what I can get! I'm not one to let her cry, I think that's mean and sad and I'm not doing it, it's just not my style of parenting but we'll get where we need to eventually.
We go to her appointment on Friday to find out her stats and she will get her first shots :/ I'm already kind of dreading it! I hate when she's sad!
Indy loves: Being outside, going on walks, taking baths but only if I'm holding her, the sound of running water, when we sing to her, music, lights, clapping,
Indy dislikes: Being inconvenienced in any way, diaper changes (sometimes), 8- 10pm
Indy's nicknames so far: Inders, Inderton, Gogurts, Indy go go, Teen teen, Little d
Abandoned airplanes in Chandler
Walk on the Gilbert Temple grounds!
Sandy was my nurse during my whole labor and delivery! She was the sweetest kindest nurse! I'm so glad I had her because it made the experience a good one. We ran into her at Wes' parents ward our first Sunday back to church.
Dr. Beck is my OB! He delivered Indy! This was at my 6 week check up!
I love nakey baby Indy :)
Fake cries after her bath haha
Her first set of little piggy tails!! So little but so sweet!
Her favorite spot to nap is in the crack of our couch.
Our first Sunday back to church! (Indy was five weeks old here)
Not too sure about bath time
Our first hike with Indy! We went to Water Wheel Falls! It was pretty warm but we made it there and it was so fun! Indy loved the sound of the water and was so good in the car all the way there and back.
He's the best/cutest dad!
We drove to Fountain Hills for Wes' job and to get out of the house one day. We walked around Fountain Hills park. It's always nice to get out and go on walks.
Being Indy's mom is the best and hardest thing I've ever done. It's amazing how much I've learned and how much I have grown because of her. Some days are challenging while others are really fun. I feel like I'm always tired but that will probably last for the rest of my life! It's so fun to see her changing and learning new things. It's fun to see her become more aware of her surroundings and of this strange world. She might be cranky a lot but she is starting to get a lot better! She is learning things very quickly and is so fun to be around. I sure love her and her dad and I really don't know what I would do without her now!
